Terms of Use

Qiutec is a software engineering company registered and operating in Zimbabwe, based in Bulawayo, serving clients across Africa. In these terms “we” and “us” mean Qiutec, and “you” means anyone using this website.

A description of what we do and what we have built. It is written to be accurate and kept current, but it is general information, not professional advice, and not an offer capable of acceptance.

Nothing here creates a contract between us. Work begins only under a separate written agreement setting out scope, price and timelines, and where that agreement conflicts with this page, that agreement wins.

You may read it, quote it with attribution, and share links to it. You may not:

• copy substantial parts of it and present them as your own;
• use it to build a competing directory or dataset, by scraping or otherwise;
• attempt to gain access to any part not intended for you, including the studio;
• interfere with its operation, or with anyone else's use of it;
• submit anything unlawful, misleading, or designed to cause harm.

The text, design, code, logos and images on this site belong to us or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law in Zimbabwe and internationally. The Qiutec name and logo are ours; nothing here grants you a licence to use them.

Client names and logos appear with permission and remain the property of those clients.

When you send an enquiry, you keep ownership of what you write. You give us permission to use it for the purpose of replying and doing the work. Please do not send confidential material through the contact form before we have a confidentiality agreement in place; use it to start a conversation, not to transfer anything sensitive.

Some pages link to other sites, including products we have built and host on their own addresses. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data. Their terms apply once you leave here.

We aim to keep the site up and correct, but we do not guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of error. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice. Nothing on this page limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

Beyond that, and to the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data, arising from use of this website.

How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, and the cookies we use in our Cookie Policy. Both form part of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and the courts of Zimbabwe have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If you are a consumer in another country, this does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory law of the place you live, or your right to bring proceedings there where that law allows it.

We may revise these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version published here is the one that applies.
